Kerala is making a comeback in tourism in the fifth phase of unlocking. Selected tourist destinations other than beaches have been opened for tourists. Tourists are looking forward to the reopening after more than six months of closure. Tourists are required to meet the COVID standards of personal hygiene and safety as per the government guidelines. In the first phase, 7 tourist destinations have been opened in Palakkad district in full compliance with the COVID norms prescribed by the government. Srikrishnapuram Bapuji Children’s Park, Vadika Garden, Kanjirapuzha Dam Garden, Parambikulam, Nelliampathi, Silent Valley, and Malampuzha Rock Garden are the opened tourist destinations. Tourist centers are equipped with heat testing, sanitizer and hand wash facilities for visitors, as well as display boards required to operate according to COVID standards.
